Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures, which included the work The last journey by Albert Joseph Franke. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,741.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Joseph Franke achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German the Barber'S Shop in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 28,750.00 (€ 34,356.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art including Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit The last journey von Albert Joseph Franke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.741,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Joseph Franke erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German the Barber'S Shop im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.750,00 (€ 34.356,21).
