Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Richmond, Yorkshire by Albert Goodwin was sold in the British Country Life auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,796.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View of Benares From The Ganga River With The Great Mosque of Auranzeb, The Vishwanath Temple And Manikarnika Ghat Behind in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 192,000.00 (€ 152,091.25).

Die Arbeit Richmond, Yorkshire von Albert Goodwin wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion British Country Life bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.530,00 (€ 1.796,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden.
