Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Goodwin could be acquired at Christies in New York in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and European Art auction, the work Kynance Cove, Cornwall changed hands for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,145.13) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View of Benares From The Ganga River With The Great Mosque of Auranzeb, The Vishwanath Temple And Manikarnika Ghat Behind in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 192,000.00 (€ 152,091.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Goodwin konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and European Art wechselte die Arbeit Kynance Cove, Cornwall für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.145,13) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Goodwin erzielen.
