The work The unfaithful knight by Albert Goodwin was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,771.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Goodwin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View of Benares From The Ganga River With The Great Mosque of Auranzeb, The Vishwanath Temple And Manikarnika Ghat Behind in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 192,000.00 (€ 152,091.25).

Die Arbeit The unfaithful knight von Albert Goodwin wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.771,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Goodwin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A View of Benares From The Ganga River With The Great Mosque of Auranzeb, The Vishwanath Temple And Manikarnika Ghat Behind im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 192.000,00 (€ 152.091,25).
