Knoedler & Co, New York; acquired in the USA by Swedish diplomatic civil servant; Fritzes Kungl. Hovbokhandel, Stockholm; private collection (acquired through the above mentioned in May 1935).

Other works by Albert Edelfelt have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 458,500.00 (€ 536,058.09) in May 2013 for the work Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 4.000.000,00 (€ 406.920,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Andere Arbeiten von Albert Edelfelt haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 458.500,00 (€ 536.058,09) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki beobachtet.
