Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Finnish girl In A White Dress by Albert Edelfelt was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,528.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Albert Edelfelt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 458,500.00 (€ 536,058.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Finnish girl In A White Dress von Albert Edelfelt kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 92.528,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Albert Edelfelt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Finnish the Boys' Workhouse, Helsinki im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 458.500,00 (€ 536.058,09).
