Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,128.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alastair Morton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Opus 9 Red and Blue Stripes 1937 in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 59,375.00 (€ 67,601.71).
