Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alastair Morton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Opus 9 Red and Blue Stripes 1937 im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 59.375,00 (€ 67.601,71).
