Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work St Michael'S Mount (Unframed) by Alan Furneaux. The price achieved of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,015.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alan Furneaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marrakesh Pool in March this year with an auction result of GBP 4,845.00 (€ 5,512.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit St Michael'S Mount (Unframed) von Alan Furneaux zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.015,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alan Furneaux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marrakesh Pool im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.845,00 (€ 5.512,12).
