Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Three works: (i) D.111-14; (ii) Red Triangle Dominates opus OG.3767; (iii) D.117-14 by Alan Davie for USD 1,270.00 (€ 1,199.92). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alan Davie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Goddess Of The Green in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 234,000.00 (€ 347,544.02).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Three works: (i) D.111-14; (ii) Red Triangle Dominates opus OG.3767; (iii) D.117-14 von Alan Davie für USD 1.270,00 (€ 1.199,92) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alan Davie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Goddess Of The Green im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 234.000,00 (€ 347.544,02).
