Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,646.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alan Brassington - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Revenue, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 3,187.00 (€ 3,696.69).
