Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At the start by Alan Brassington was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,592.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alan Brassington - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Revenue, which sold at auction in October 2019 for GBP 3,187.00 (€ 3,696.69).

Die Arbeit At the start von Alan Brassington kam im Juli 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.592,16) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
