Réalisé en 1989. signed with initials and inscribed 'AK MA 008' (at the bottom of one of the sculptures); signed with initials and inscribed 'AK MA 009' (at the bottom of one of the sculptures); signed with initials and inscribed 'AK MA 010' (at the bottom of one of the sculptures); signed with initials and inscribed 'AK MA 011' (at the bottom of one of the sculptures) forged painted iron and aluminium 84 1 ⁄ 4 x 55 1 ⁄ 8 x 37 in. Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alain Kirili could be acquired at Christies in Paris in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ auction, the work Générations changed hands for EUR 2,268.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alain Kirili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Commandement Xi in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 31,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alain Kirili konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ wechselte die Arbeit Générations für EUR 2.268,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alain Kirili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Commandement Xi im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
