Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Portrait of a Man by Alain Jacquet. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 24,320.00 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alain Jacquet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La vierge et l'enfant in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 112,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a Man von Alain Jacquet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 24.320,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alain Jacquet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La vierge et l'enfant im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 112.500,00.
