Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vortex by Aisha Khalid was sold in the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,425.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Aisha Khalid have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2019 the work Pattern to Follow was auctioned for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,103.71).

Die Arbeit Vortex von Aisha Khalid wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 20.425,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden.
