Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Aisha Khalid was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,908.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aisha Khalid - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pattern to Follow, which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,103.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aisha Khalid kam im September 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.908,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Aisha Khalid mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pattern to Follow beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.103,71) versteigert wurde.
