Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pakistan iinfinite Justice by Aisha Khalid was sold in the Global Contemporary, Rijksakademie auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in June 2010. The price achieved of EUR 13,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aisha Khalid - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pattern to Follow, which sold at auction in June 2019 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,103.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pakistan iinfinite Justice von Aisha Khalid wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Global Contemporary, Rijksakademie bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Aisha Khalid mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pattern to Follow beobachtet, die im Juni 2019 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.103,71) versteigert wurde.
