Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Russian Green Abstract, 1998 by Aidan Salakhova was sold in the Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,000.00 (€ 19,912.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aidan Salakhova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gold Confession, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,126.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Russian Green Abstract, 1998 von Aidan Salakhova wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.000,00 (€ 19.912,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Aidan Salakhova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gold Confession beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.126,23) versteigert wurde.
