Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Green Abstract by Aidan Salakhova was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,860.25). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aidan Salakhova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gold Confession, which sold at auction in November 2013 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,126.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Green Abstract von Aidan Salakhova im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 13.860,25) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Aidan Salakhova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gold Confession beobachtet, die im November 2013 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.126,23) versteigert wurde.
