A top price for Aidan Salakhova - as previously expected
In November 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary East, which included the work Gold Confession by Aidan Salakhova. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 35,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,126.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gold Confession is the most expensive artwork by Aidan Salakhova that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gold Confession von Aidan Salakhova zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.126,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Gold Confession das teuerste Kunstwerk von Aidan Salakhova, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
