Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tibetan Girl by Ai Xuan was sold in the Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions auction at POLY in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,832,000.00 (€ 298,714.64). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ai Xuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Longing, which sold at auction in April 2013 for HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,178,581.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tibetan Girl von Ai Xuan wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Poly Auction Hong Kong & Macau Joint Auctions bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 2.832.000,00 (€ 298.714,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ai Xuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Longing beobachtet, die im April 2013 für HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.178.581,41) versteigert wurde.
