Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Silent Plains by Ai Xuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 650,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 75,112.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ai Xuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Longing in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,178,581.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Silent Plains von Ai Xuan kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 650.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 75.112,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ai Xuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Longing im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.178.581,41).
