Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Girl In The Wind(Painted In 2012) by Ai Xuan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 472,000.00 (€ 53,147.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ai Xuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Longing in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 12,040,000.00 (€ 1,178,581.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl In The Wind(Painted In 2012) von Ai Xuan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 450.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 472.000,00 (€ 53.147,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ai Xuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Longing im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 12.040.000,00 (€ 1.178.581,41).
