The work Fuego del sol by Agustín Fernández was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2017. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,809.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Agustín Fernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).

Die Arbeit Fuego del sol von Agustín Fernández wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.809,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Agustín Fernández mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 40.320,00 (€ 38.095,24) versteigert wurde.
