The work Buttons by Agustín Fernández was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2013. The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,248.54), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Agustín Fernández have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September this year the work without title was auctioned for USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,095.24).
