Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition horizontale by Agustín Cárdenas was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 30,000.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Agustín Cárdenas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le repos in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 620,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition horizontale von Agustín Cárdenas wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 30.000,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Agustín Cárdenas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le repos im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 620.000,00.
