Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 11,970.00 (€ 14,037.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aert Schouman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Helmeted Guinea Fowl And A Black Headed Caïque On A Branch; And A Red Ibis And A Victoria Crowned Pigeon in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,481.48).
