Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction A Fine Line: Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries, which included the work A Drake Mallard by Aert Schouman. The price achieved of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,126.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aert Schouman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Helmeted Guinea Fowl And A Black Headed Caïque On A Branch; And A Red Ibis And A Victoria Crowned Pigeon in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,481.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion A Fine Line: Master Works on Paper from Five Centuries durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Drake Mallard von Aert Schouman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.126,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aert Schouman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Helmeted Guinea Fowl And A Black Headed Caïque On A Branch; And A Red Ibis And A Victoria Crowned Pigeon im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 101.481,48).
