Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work An sunbird (?) and a Dusky parrot (Pionus fuscus) on a branch by Aert Schouman. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,974.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aert Schouman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Helmeted Guinea Fowl And A Black Headed Caïque On A Branch; And A Red Ibis And A Victoria Crowned Pigeon in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,481.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit An sunbird (?) and a Dusky parrot (Pionus fuscus) on a branch von Aert Schouman zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.974,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aert Schouman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Helmeted Guinea Fowl And A Black Headed Caïque On A Branch; And A Red Ibis And A Victoria Crowned Pigeon im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 137.000,00 (€ 101.481,48).
