Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,215.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aert Schouman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Helmeted Guinea Fowl And A Black Headed Caïque On A Branch; And A Red Ibis And A Victoria Crowned Pigeon in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 137,000.00 (€ 101,481.48).
