Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Reclining Nude Girl by Aert de Gelder was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 99,645.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aert de Gelder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Esther at her toilet in January this year with an auction result of USD 882,000.00 (€ 812,304.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Reclining Nude Girl von Aert de Gelder kam im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 99.645,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aert de Gelder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Esther at her toilet im Januar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 882.000,00 (€ 812.304,29).
