Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work A summer's day on the Trekvliet seen from Haagzigt, Voorburg; and The Trekweg along the Trekvliet with the old railway bridge, The Hague by Adrianus Jacobus Vrolijk. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adrianus Jacobus Vrolijk have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cattle at pasture with a windmill beyond in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 11,162.50 (€ 18,247.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A summer's day on the Trekvliet seen from Haagzigt, Voorburg; and The Trekweg along the Trekvliet with the old railway bridge, The Hague von Adrianus Jacobus Vrolijk zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adrianus Jacobus Vrolijk auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cattle at pasture with a windmill beyond im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.162,50 (€ 18.247,75).
