It achieved a price of GBP 1,024.00 (€ 1,194.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adrian Stokes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Interior at Euston Road School Studio, 1938, which sold at auction in August 2015 for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,401.76).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.024,00 (€ 1.194,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Für andere Arbeiten von Adrian Stokes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Interior at Euston Road School Studio, 1938 beobachtet, die im August 2015 für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.401,76) versteigert wurde.
