Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2001 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master Pictures, which included the work A wooded landscape with hunters by a cottage by Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,625.00 (€ 28,413.71), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A windswept tree, with travellers on a dune beyond in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 131,807.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded landscape with hunters by a cottage von Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.625,00 (€ 28.413,71) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A windswept tree, with travellers on a dune beyond im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 131.807,36).
