Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Wooded Landscape With Animals Near A Mill by Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,750.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A windswept tree, with travellers on a dune beyond in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 104,500.00 (€ 131,807.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Wooded Landscape With Animals Near A Mill von Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom im Januar 2015 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.750,22) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen Hendricksz. Verboom erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A windswept tree, with travellers on a dune beyond im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 104.500,00 (€ 131.807,36).
