Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2002 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work Fish, crabs, mussels, an artichoke, a copper pot and a cat on a table by Adriaen van Utrecht. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,245.02), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van Utrecht achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 210,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fish, crabs, mussels, an artichoke, a copper pot and a cat on a table von Adriaen van Utrecht zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.245,02) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen van Utrecht erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 210.800,00.
