Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds, Including Ducks, Parrots And A Heron, In An Extensive Landscape by Adriaen van Utrecht was sold in the Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 57,699.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adriaen van Utrecht - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei, which sold at auction in November 2017 for EUR 210,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds, Including Ducks, Parrots And A Heron, In An Extensive Landscape von Adriaen van Utrecht wurde im Januar 2016 in der Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 57.699,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Adriaen van Utrecht mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei beobachtet, die im November 2017 für EUR 210.800,00 versteigert wurde.
