Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES & DRAWINGS, which included the work An interior with a kitchen maid, dead game birds hanging, two dead hares in a basket and asparagus, cabbage, cauliflower and melons on the floor by Adriaen van Utrecht. The price achieved of GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,147.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van Utrecht achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 210,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES & DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit An interior with a kitchen maid, dead game birds hanging, two dead hares in a basket and asparagus, cabbage, cauliflower and melons on the floor von Adriaen van Utrecht zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.170,00 (€ 10.147,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen van Utrecht erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 210.800,00.
