Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2000 Christies in London held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work A barrel of mussels, a dogfish and other fish with turnips, carrots, a cabbage and a bucket with artichokes and asparagus on a ledge by Adriaen van Utrecht. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,990.00 (€ 13,657.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen van Utrecht achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei in November 2017 with an auction result of EUR 210,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A barrel of mussels, a dogfish and other fish with turnips, carrots, a cabbage and a bucket with artichokes and asparagus on a ledge von Adriaen van Utrecht zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.990,00 (€ 13.657,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen van Utrecht erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stillleben mit Früchten, Gemüse und einem Papagei im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 210.800,00.
