Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen Van Salm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Dutch Man-Of-War Firing A Salute, With A Flotilla Of Fishing Boats And Other Shipping Beyond: A Penschilderij in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 434,390.77).
