Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work A View Of The Zwaenseiland And The River Zwaenhals, Rotterdam, The Sint Laurenskerk Beyond by Adriaen Van Salm. The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 56,341.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adriaen Van Salm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Dutch Man-Of-War Firing A Salute, With A Flotilla Of Fishing Boats And Other Shipping Beyond: A Penschilderij in January 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 434,390.77).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 56.341,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden.
