However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adriaen Van Salm - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Dutch Man-Of-War Firing A Salute, With A Flotilla Of Fishing Boats And Other Shipping Beyond: A Penschilderij, which sold at auction in January 2010 for USD 602,500.00 (€ 434,390.77).
