Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, 19th Century & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work Wooded Italian landscapes with monasteries by Adriaen Frans Boudewijns. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,754.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Adriaen Frans Boudewijns have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape with travellers and a cart and horse; and A wooded landscape with travellers, a castle beyond in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,544.76).

Im Dezember 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master, 19th Century & British Drawings & Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wooded Italian landscapes with monasteries von Adriaen Frans Boudewijns zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.754,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriaen Frans Boudewijns auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A wooded landscape with travellers and a cart and horse; and A wooded landscape with travellers, a castle beyond im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.544,76).
