Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cat In An Architectural Landscape by Adriaen de Gryef. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,670.66) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaen de Gryef achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Hound Guarding Dead Game Birds, A Stag And A Hare, With Huntsmen In A Landscape; And Hounds With A Dead Swan, Hare And A Boar, With Huntsmen In A Landscape in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 31,700.00 (€ 40,413.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cat In An Architectural Landscape von Adriaen de Gryef zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.670,66) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaen de Gryef erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Hound Guarding Dead Game Birds, A Stag And A Hare, With Huntsmen In A Landscape; And Hounds With A Dead Swan, Hare And A Boar, With Huntsmen In A Landscape im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.700,00 (€ 40.413,02).
