Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Made in Holland, which included the work A hunting still life with various songbirds by Adriaen de Gryef. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,410.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Adriaen de Gryef have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Hound Guarding Dead Game Birds, A Stag And A Hare, With Huntsmen In A Landscape; And Hounds With A Dead Swan, Hare And A Boar, With Huntsmen In A Landscape in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 31,700.00 (€ 40,413.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Made in Holland durch, in der auch die Arbeit A hunting still life with various songbirds von Adriaen de Gryef zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.410,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adriaen de Gryef auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Hound Guarding Dead Game Birds, A Stag And A Hare, With Huntsmen In A Landscape; And Hounds With A Dead Swan, Hare And A Boar, With Huntsmen In A Landscape im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.700,00 (€ 40.413,02).
