Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work A plough team by Herman Gouwe for EUR 537.75. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman Gouwe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A plough team in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 19,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A plough team von Herman Gouwe für EUR 537,75 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman Gouwe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A plough team im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.200,00.
