Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Adolphus Knell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A fresh breeze in the Channel; and Evening after a squall off the Cornish coast, which sold at auction in May 2001 for GBP 5,287.50 (€ 8,864.61).
