It achieved a price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,114.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Adolf Hoffmeister; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Czech i. Marc Chagall Ii. Pablo Picasso Iii. Philipa Soupolta sold at auction in June 2011 with the realized price of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,457.23).

Die Arbeit Pablo Picasso - La Paz von Adolf Hoffmeister kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.114,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Adolf Hoffmeister; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Czech i. Marc Chagall Ii.
