Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Adelsteen Normann could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Fjord landscape changed hands for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,056.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adelsteen Normann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boats on a Norwegian Fjord in April 2003 with an auction result of USD 38,240.00 (€ 31,140.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adelsteen Normann konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wechselte die Arbeit Fjord landscape für SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.056,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adelsteen Normann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boats on a Norwegian Fjord im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 38.240,00 (€ 31.140,07).
