In October this year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work ARK by Adam Fuss. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,620.00 (€ 7,210.45), 27% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Fuss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 84,796.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 27 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit ARK von Adam Fuss zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.620,00 (€ 7.210,45) und damit 27% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Fuss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 84.796,49).
